Lots of people moan about Pret. They slate the high content of salt in their soup and the over exuberant use of rocket and mayonnaise in their sandwiches but I like them.
And so for this month, I thought that I’d celebrate the fact that:
A. I’ve visited Prets in both London and New York over the past few weeks.
B. We like their new café revamps with their exposed brick walls, lots of wood and white furniture.
C. They are very sporting when it comes to Christmas. A bit like the John Lewis Christmas advert, Pret’s Christmas lunch sandwiches and Crimble Crumble slices have become contemporary festive traditions – and raise lots of money for the homeless in the process.
